Rajasthan’s Citadels, Deserts, and Tribal People
with Varanasi and the Taj Mahal

Get into the life of India’s royals, and its villagers too. Explore the Thar, or Great Indian Desert, with its sand dunes and tribal villages, lush rural farmlands of Rajasthan’s hills, grand forts and bustling markets of the “Pink” City, Jaipur, and the “Blue” City of Jodhpur, and golden desert fort of Jaisalmer, a vibrant town in which people still live. And we participate in the tribal dances and music of Rajasthan. Go boating on the Ganges and walk the lanes and riverside ghats of Varanasi, India’s most sacred city.
